Obituary for Donald Joseph Day

DONALD J. DAY, age 88. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn (nee Vaughan) for 62 wonderful years. Loving father of Dr. David and Ronald. Devoted grandfather of Meghan, Emerson and Lauren. Dearest brother of Theron (‘Bud’, deceased) and brother-in-law of Karlyn Barrett. Uncle and great uncle. Don was a graduate of Collinwood High School and Kent State University (B.A. and M.B.A.) where he was the founding vice-president of the Sigma Phi Epsilon chapter, and where he met Evelyn. A memorial service will be held at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 3 p.m. Family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. prior to the memorial service.
