JAMES BRIGOTTI, 88, passed away from this earthly life at the Regina Health Center on May 18, 2018. He was born on September 29, 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio. James graduated from St. Ignatius High School in 1948, from St Francis University, Loretto, PA in 1952, and served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1952 through 1954, rising to the rank of Captain. Married to Patricia Carroll in 1953. Father of Richard James, Matthew Carroll (Samantha) and Melissa Maria (Khaldoun Alnajada). Grandfather of Shannon and Andrew Brigotti and Megan and Joseph Gilroy. Brother of Elena Curran (Thomas, Sr.) and Richard (deceased in 1933). James went on to own and operate The New York Spaghetti House restaurant in downtown Cleveland. Family and friends will be received at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held at the FUNERAL HOME, Friday, May 25, 2018 at 9:15 a.m. followed by Mass at Church of the Assumption, 9183 Broadview Rd., Broadview Hts., OH 44147 at 10 a.m. Memorials in James's name may be made to the Regina Health Center, 5232 Broadview Rd., Richfield, OH 44286-9608.
