CONRAD M. POKORSKI, age 85, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018. Born February 20, 1933 to the late John and Cecelia Pokorski (nee Radzyminski). Beloved husband of the late Claire (nee Nemec) for 53 years. Loving father of Sharon Dawson (Dave), Kathy Dombrowski (Dave), Connie Madej (Jim) and Carolyn Mallinger (Mark). Cherished grandfather of Kara Zimmerman (Matt), Rachel, Alyssa, Michael, Randy, Kelly, Christine, Matthew and Julianne. Brother-in-law to Bill and Joan O'Brien (both deceased) and Tom and Beverly Nemec.

Conrad was not only a loving father and grandfather, but also a devoted high school history teacher at Chanel, Walsh Jesuit, Parma, and Normandy High Schools. Having 4 daughters and no sons, he was a father figure to many young men throughout his career coaching baseball, football and track. Conrad was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates fan. He enjoyed many hours gardening, painting, watching westerns & sports, and sitting outside with his beloved grand dog Mia.

Conrad was a member of Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of Charity Council #11406, and United States Army veteran, 350th Psychological Warfare Unit.

Family will receive friends at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Monday, May 14 from 4-8 p.m. Conrad's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Basil Church, 8700 Brecksville Rd., on Tuesday, May 15 at 10 a.m. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment Brecksville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Holy Family Hospice, 6707 State Rd., Parma, Ohio 44134.
