KATHRYN A. BURKE "Katie" (nee Steuart), age 87 passed away February 22, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Joseph. Loving mother of Karen (deceased) (Mario), Richard (deceased), Patricia Szakacs (Mark) and Barbara. Grandmother of Jenna, Dana, Amy, Ashley, Mark Jr., and great grandmother of Avery, Mason, Joey, Jaycee and Charlee. Sister of the late Bob, Bill, Hank, Sally and Ginny.

Katie was a well known, respected and caring individual who always put other peoples cares and need right there with hers. She was actively involved in her community with the Broadview Heights Rec Center where she was a water aerobics instructor and a long term volunteer for the Human Services Department as well as the UH Parma Hospital Wellpointe Pavilion Therapy Department and served the Brecksville Women's Club for over 25 years where she held several levels of officer and committee chair positions including president. Katie was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a dear friend to many who loved her neighbors and was always out in her yard with her plants and gardening and her dearly beloved dog Britt. Katie's uplifting and positive spirit will be missed by all.

Family will receive friends at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 10 a.m.-12 noon followed by Katie's funeral service at the funeral home at 12 noon. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Brecksville Women's Club, P.O. Box 41407, Brecksville, OH 44141 or Bartels Pet Hospital, 7051 Mill Rd., Brecksville, OH 44141.
