JoLana Chernesky (nee Dzmura) age 89. Beloved wife of George Chernesky. Loving mother of Kathleen Haystrick (Ken) and Christine Ronk (Brian). Cherished grandmother of Peter Kormos, Elizabeth Noll (Chuck), and Megan, Anya, Jessica and Valik Ronk. Beloved great grandmother of Connor and Emma Noll. Dear sister of Dorothy Kocher, Helen Hlaves, and the late Peter, Paul, Michael, Nicholas, Anna Dillon and Joseph Dzmura. Loved by many nieces and nephews.

JoLana was an avid reader, a member of the City of North Olmsted Garden Club, and a devoted member of St. Michael’s Orthodox Church.

Family will receive friends at Archangel Michael Orthodox Church, 5025 E. Mill Rd., Broadview Heights, OH 44147 on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. with a Parastas Service at 7 p.m. JoLana’s Funeral Service will be held at Archangel Michael Orthodox Church on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10 a.m. with the Very Rev. John Memorich officiating. Interment will follow at St. Theodosius Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary of Egypt Orthodox Mission, P.O. Box 5757, Cleveland, OH 44101 or St. Herman’s, P.O. Box 932612, Cleveland, OH 44193 in JoLana’s memory would be appreciated.
