BETSY BOWERS (nee Bull), age 80. Passed away peacefully Friday, August 25, 2017. Loving wife of the late George W. Bowers "Big George" for 58 years; beloved mother of Mark Bowers (Lisa), Robin Koravos (Dean), Kristen Bowers and Cheryl Popp (George); grandmother of Sarah, Megan, Andrew, Ashley, Alexa, Jack, Katie and great grandmother to Oliver; daughter of the late Donald and Helen Bull.

Betsy worked as a registered nurse in Toledo, Ohio until she retired to Brecksville to raise her family. She was an avid bowler, golfer and PTA mom. She loved playing cards and trips to Seven Springs with her girlfriends, enjoyed the arts, as well as trips with the entire family. She also contributed to multiple charities and causes that were dear to her heart. Other highlights included living on their farm in Brecksville for over 50 years and raising many animals there. Special thank you to her niece Carol Revill for her devoted care and love for both Betsy and George.
