Obituary for Dr. John D. Hines

DR. JOHN D. HINES, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. Beloved husband of Donna M. for 61 years; loving father of David (Julie) and the late Suzanne; devoted grandfather of Alexandra, Kristine, Bryan, and Kristen (Jordan); dear great grandfather of Lucas. Dr. Hines graduated from Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He worked for 50 years in the Cleveland medical community with Metro Health, the Cleveland Clinic, Parma, and Southwest Hospitals and was a professor at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine. He loved the symphony and golfing. A Memorial Service will be held at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the UH Parma Medical Center Friend or the Cleveland Orchestra Foundation in Dr. Hines' name would be appreciated.
