FRANK E. BERGER, age 90. Beloved husband of Violet Berger for 60 years; loving father of Kathleen, Gregory, Frank Jr. (Annette), and Jacqueline; brother of the late Kathleen Priem​. Frank was an Army Veteran of World War II. After the war using the G.I. Bill, he obtained a doctor of optometry degree from Ohio State University, Frank practiced for over 35 years and retired in 1992. He loved tennis, skiing, hiking, the Metro Parks and his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He enjoyed spending his free time building models of cars, planes, trains and museum quality masted ships. Family will receive friends at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Saturday, July 1, 2017 from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. with a Service to celebrate Frank's life to follow at 1:30 p.m. A private interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank's name to the Seasons of Life Hospice or the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter would be appreciated.
