MARGARET “Marge” PAULINE RANDA, age 79, of Brecksville, OH, formerly of Sharpsburg, PA, passed away peacefully in Holy Family Hospice, Parma, OH, on June 9, 2017.

She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 29, 1937 to the late Lucy (Antico) Randa and Michael P. Randa.

Marge was a long time resident of Brecksville, moving there in 1962 to work for the Armour-Dial Corporation. After retiring from Armour-Dial, Marge worked for Seasons of Life Hospice and most recently for St. Basil’s Roman Catholic Church where she was an Extraordinary Minister of the Holy Eucharist, a member of the Remembrance Choir and a member of Social Activities Committee. In addition, she volunteered at the Brecksville Senior Center helping to prepare meals for the local seniors on Tuesdays and Thursdays, many times preparing meals for people younger than her.

Marge was preceded in death by her beloved parents and siblings, Nancy (Randa) Guenther, Mary Grace (Randa) Balster, and Michael J. Randa. She leaves behind her beloved brother Duane Randa (Johna) as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and their children and quite a few god children.

Marge never met a person she didn’t like or fail to help someone in need. She has been a true and caring friend of long standing to many in the Brecksville area, and many who have moved to other locations. Marge was always worried about others and always tried to make sure their comfort came first.

She has been heavily involved with St. Basil’s church prompting her to become a member of the staff for the last ten years.
