George W. Bowers “Big George,” 83. Passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 13, 2016. Loving husband of Betsy J. Bowers (nee Bull) for 58 years; beloved father of Mark Bowers (Lisa), Robin Koravos (Dean), Kristen Bowers and Cheryl Popp (George); grandfather of Sarah, Megan, Andrew, Ashley, Alexa, Jack, Katie and great grandfather to Oliver; son of the late Rolland and Christine (nee Towe) Bowers; brother of Nancy Revill, Rolland Bowers, Roger Bowers and the late Barbara Ward; uncle and great uncle of many.

George was a U.S. Army Korean Conflict Veteran, a local home builder for over 15 years and loved gardening, arts & crafts and woodworking.
