My thoughts and prayers go out to you all in this very difficult time. Johnny was a bright light in a too often dark world. Always wearing a smile and a carefree attitude he had a certain way about him that made even strangers seem like long lost relatives. His love of life was contagious and his energy was infectious. I will miss him dearly. Heaven got another angel far too soon but I know that he is going to be smiling down on us all. Until we meet again my friend.

It is with heavy heart and sorrow that I express my deepest condolences for the loss of your son, brother, dad, and uncle. Johnny was not only my upstairs neighbor; he was also my friend - a truly gentle, caring soul who possessed both a huge heart and lovingly warm personality in equal measure. His kindness and sense of humor put all whom came into contact with him immediately at ease because to Johnny, everyone was a friend and no one a stranger.
During this time of grief, may your family derive some measure of comfort in the knowledge that the overwhelming pride he took in his children, as well as the unconditional love of his family were without limit and a constant source of joy in his life. May God bless all of you and welcome Johnny with open arms. I cannot help but think of him soaring free in the sky with the hawks that he so loved to imitate....
