JOHN J. ZUPANC, age 80, beloved husband to Ann; loving father of John (Marie), Karen Lenehan (Pat), Jim (Shannon) and Brian (Jennifer); dear grandfather to Patrick, Sophia, Paige, Avery, Owen, Ava, Jack, Johnny, Kenna, Clinton and Aidan; brother to Rudy Zupanc (Ida), uncle to Rudy Zupanc (Laney); friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Angeline. John passed suddenly Jan. 4, called to a foursome in the sky. He began in the car business in high school and worked his way to sales manager. John spent his life in service to others. While he retired from “pushing iron” (selling cars) several years ago, he never stopped working for those around him. Known as Mr. Fix-it, he could repair anything or do any task which needed done. If not fixing something he was busy volunteering to anyone in need. Aside from his family, John loved to golf and even twice scored a hole-in-one. John relished being with other people, he always had a joke or a story to share and will be truly missed. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. A memorial service will be held at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., FRIDAY, JANUARY 15, 2016, at 10:30 A.M. Calling hours Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
